I've set up a variety of Internet services over the years for your consideration. Most of these services exist on BiStar.com for evaluation only. We may or may not decide to use them. Some were merely created for evaluating server-side software, to explore concepts, generate ideas, and to demonstrate what can be done.
Services for your evaluation (alphabetical order by directory at BiStar):
- Agora Shopping Cart
- This is a WordPress blog installation we might want to use. It's the best blogging software I've found to date. I thoroughly tested it! ;)
- A public article repository
- A persistent chat client powered by http://zoho.com/
- Just for the fun of it, I wrote this coin flipping cgi in PHP.
- A Content Management System (CMS)with a wide variety of capabilities
- An HTTP-based shared file repository for uploading and downloading.
- I created this directory as an example of what we can do with forms.
- A guestbook I installed for your consideration. Feel free to play with it.
- One of many wikis I installed for evaluation, this one. So far, I believe it is our best choice.
- A project manager that I installed for evaluation. Login with user:guest pswd:guest. I think they did a good job.
- A Bulletin Board Service BBS, installed for evaluation. I like it. Shall we use it?
- One of the earlier wiki applications I installed for evaluation. I don't think we need it.
